Project "Use of ICT's in the spread of information on the debt and its impacts"
This project seeks to help spreading information and sensitize the public about the consequences of the current system of national debt and further engage the citizenry in general and social organizations in activities of dissemination and and political impact to reduce and streamline the debt, all this through ICT's.
Currently, the project is funded by the IICD (http://www.iicd.org), International Institute for Communication and Development based in the Netherlands, which provides assistance to developing countries to achieve sustainable development with local ownership, by taking advantage of the potential offered by the Technology of Information and Communication (ICT's).
Project for Organizational and Institutional Strengthening, citizen participation and political impact
The project has contributed to raising citizens' awareness and encouraging their participation in political actions to reduce and streamline the debt through a policy aimed at sustainable human development in the Latin American context.
Its financed through the “Convenio de Cooperación” cofinanced by BREAD FOR THE WORLD (http://www.brot-fuer-die-welt.de/english/index.php) and MISEREOR (http://www.misereor.org/index.php?id=2990&L=0).
